Thursday’s LA Times Home section featured several of Elysian Park and Echo Park’s trees that deliver Those Gently Falling Jewels. For the in-depth classic guide to many of the most magnificent and unique trees in Elysian Park pick up a copy of Don Hodel’s Exceptional Trees of Los Angeles. The Greater Echo Park Elysian Neighborhood Council elections are almost upon us, Monday the 22nd at midnight is the filing deadline for candidates. The candidates forum will be held the following night at Logan Elementary School at 7.30PM and the elections being held on December 11th.
