The weeklies have a couple things to contribute: First in the LA Weekly, Greetings From Echo Park captures an Elysian Park fixture Eddie. While over at the City Beat the fixations on cupcakes at Chango.

Meanwhile over at Blogging.LA today’s focus is on the Edendale Post Office, the lack of cash accepting stamp machines and the lovely Plexiglas barrier.

Starting Friday and continuing through Sunday, the Echo Park Holiday Art Show and Gift Sale! Now is your chance to stock up holiday gifts while supporting local artist. Works by California artists, designers, and architects. Featuring handmade objects and art: painting, photography, works on paper, sculpture, ceramics, apparel, handbags, jewelry, mobiles, gift cards, objects for the home, and more.

Echo Park Film Center needs our help! The good folks at the Center have put out a plea, their rent is about to go through the ceiling so they are looking for an affordable location to move to and some letters of support.
