This weekend plan ahead!
Most importantly (to me!) is the opening of my wife Mary-Austin Klein’s latest landscape painting show Vistas de Soledad at the new Metro Gallery in Silver Lake this Saturday from 5-10PM at 1835 Hyperion Avenue.
Sunday the Los Angeles Triathlon will ride down Sunset Blvd closing streets and trapping some of us, check the street closure map for additional details.
In memory of 9/11 the Los Angeles Fire Department will be hosting a Remembrance Ceremony at the WTC Memorial adjacent to the recently refurbished Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training Center
Several weeks ago the construction crews restoring the Echo Park Boathouse relit the lantern for a weekend test. The light is now off but will return in several months after the extensive work is complete. If you missed the glow here it is!
