I visited Panama Ecoparque project of the Rotary Club a couple of months ago. This project is painted in a perfect way.<br />
But is not finished, indeed, have not even begun, but it is not because the Rotary Club has not loved is because they have not yet approved the project.</p>
<p><strong>WHAT IS THE PROJECT? </strong></p>
<p>The Interoceanic Region Authority (ARI) under a lease granted in August 2004 to the Rotary Club Panama Nordeste (CRPND), supported by the Pan American Association for the Conservation (GAIA Panama) and other organizations, an area of forest 372 hectares of humid tropical, located on the west side of the Panama Canal, to develop a recreation area and public education that benefits the community.</p>
<p>According to Nestor Correa, leader of the project, the aim is to develop an ecological park in the area west of the Panama Canal, through which a process of education and entertainment for the Panamanian population, while contributing to the conservation and preservation of environment and biodiversity.</p>
<p><strong>The specific objectives are: </strong></p>
<p>• Protect and maximize existing resources<br />
